Police Chief Frank Mcgrew
I have called Turner home since 2007, and this community has truly become part of who my wife and I are. My law enforcement career began in 1996 as a reserve with Polk County. The following year, I joined the Milton Freewater Police Department, where I served as a Field Training Officer, Use of Force Instructor, Narcotics Detective, and eventually a Corporal.
In 2004, I continued my career with the Forest Grove Police Department. Over the years, I’ve taken on roles as a Field Training Officer, Use of Force Instructor, Motor Officer, and Sergeant—wearing many hats and gaining experience I’m grateful for.
Even after 18 years of commuting, our commitment to this community has never wavered. I’m genuinely excited to get started in this next chapter. When we’re not working, my wife and I enjoy spending time on our property, hiking the trails with our loyal dog and appreciating the place we’re lucky to call home.
