Police Chief Don Taylor

Don started as a reserve officer for Turner in October 1996.  In May of 2000 he left and worked for the Condon Police Department, followed by employment with the Gilliam County Sheriff’s Office.  He returned to Turner in January 2003.  During this time he was an Officer, Sergeant and our current Chief for the last 6 years.  He has attended Western Oregon University and has an Associates degree from Chemeketa.  He and his family live in Turner.
